The main question throughout my visual story project is "What is True Love". There are many different forms of love, but I wanted to "defamilurize" myself from the term. I used this concept while choosing my photographs. I defamilurized myself from the general assumption that you learn to love and you find true love when you get older, I reconstructed a new identity for this concept and my photos. I wanted to create a new constructed identity for the photos of the little girl. The readymade identity is that you find love or discover it when you get older, but I wanted to get my audiance to defamilurize themselves with this concept.
I want my audiance to be young women thinking about love and what it is. Using pictures of a little girle puts a new readymade conception of when love starts, It is never to early to love and love yourself! Why should one wait till a specific age to discover this? My main goal by using the story of the little girl going through questons about what love is serves to defamilurize you from the readymade notion of when love starts and along with what true love is.
